For my semester long project of junior year, I was tasked to make and create branding materials for a randomly chosen pop – up location in one of four locations. I was assigned the Philadelphia Zoo and I created a pop – up centered around butterflies.

Butterfly Bistro is a pop – up vegan restaurant located in the Philadelphia Zoo during the spring and summer seasons. This restaurant is an open air venue surrounded by a garden meant to attract butterflies within the area as a way to show off the beautiful butterflies that live within Philadelphia.

The zoo does not have that many food areas that are aimed towards adults, and at the time of creating the project the zoo was attempting to draw in the millenial crowd. In order to help bring in the older demographic, this restaurant is targeted towards people on dates or patrons without children.
